Former AC Milan and Rangers midfielder Gennaro Gattuso is being investigated for match-fixing, Eurosport reports.
The houses of former Italy stars Gennaro Gattuso and Cristian Brocchi were raided by police as part of a probe into match-fixing.
The investigation is part of the Italian police’s operation against illegal betting in football, with four other men taken into custody, believed to be alleged intermediaries between footballers and those placing bets.
Also under scrutiny are several top-flight games involving Milan, Juventus and Inter, including Milan v Lazio, Chievo v Milan (both February 2011), Milan v Bari (March 2011), Juventus v Lazio (April 2012), and Palermo v Inter Milan (April 2013).
A press conference will be held later on Tuesday to give more details on developments.
